Legacy Contributors
Joe McKane
Joe McKane worked tirelessly with his committee and the Marblehead Recreation & Parks Department to help open the Veterans School Pickleball Courts in 2019 and the Seaside Pickleball Courts in 2022. Joe also shows unwavering commitment to the sport of pickleball in Marblehead to this day, beyond just playing the game.
If he doesn’t have a paddle in his hand, Joe exemplifies dedication by walking the courts early mornings, checking nets, picking up litter, and assisting with maintenance at both locations. By helping to keep the Marblehead courts in good shape, he promotes enjoyment of the sport in the community.
In addition to spending time on the pickleball courts, Joe can be seen at Seaside Park on the baseball field as General Manager for the 10th season of the Seasiders Baseball Team.
